The three-story , plastered corner building was erected as a barracks in the second half of the 18th century . In the mid-1880s, the building was converted into a tenement house with small apartments .
The house has nine axes and two front doors to Henning-Mörder-Straße and three axes to Katharinenberg. The corner axis is rounded and houses a front door.
The house is located in the core area of the city area recognized by UNESCO as a world cultural heritage site of the “ historic old towns of Stralsund and Wismar ”. It is entered in the list of architectural monuments in Stralsund with the number 352.
