Henriette Marion
Henriette Marion , married Henriette Müller-Marion ( February 5, 1845 in Wiesbaden - July 11, 1921 in Munich ) was a German opera singer ( soprano ), composer and singing teacher .
Life
After completing her training, she entered the opera career as a young singer, later in highly dramatic roles. From 1864 the artist worked successfully at the court theaters in Wiesbaden, Braunschweig, Munich, Cologne, as well as Brussels, Liège, Ghent and Antwerp (French opera). In 1890 she left the stage and said goodbye in Ghent as "Valentine" in the Huguenots .
Above all, however, she is known for the “Freia” in the Munich premiere of Richard Wagner's Rheingold on September 22, 1869. She also created the "Ortlinde" in the "Walküre" on June 26, 1870 there.
After the end of her stage career she worked as a singing teacher in Bonn and Munich.
