Henriette Michaelis

Henriette Michaelis (born July 6, 1849 ; † unknown) was a German philologist , Romance scholar and lexicographer .

family

She was the daughter of Gustav Michaelis (1813–1895), a German teacher and stenographer , and a sister of Carolina Michaëlis de Vasconcelos (1851–1925), a Romance scholar who is counted among the most learned philologists in Hispanic and Lusitan studies .
