Henrik Ajax (born October 15, 1980 in Skedevi , Sweden ) is a Swedish composer living in Germany .

Life

Ajax studied piano at the École Normale de Musique, composition and music theory at the Musikhochschule in Würzburg with Heinz Winbeck and Ariane Jeßulat and in Munich with Jan Müller-Wieland . Ajax lives in Munich, where, in addition to his freelance work as a composer, he teaches instrumentation and music theory at the University of Music and Theater . He wrote numerous works for orchestra, ensemble, choir and solo instruments.

In addition to his own work, his artistic activity is characterized by occasional cross-disciplinary collaborations. For example, he works as an arranger and pianist with several jazz and rock bands in Germany and America. He composed the music for the movie Luft as well as for the experimental short film Der Wanderer by director Anatol Schuster.
