Henrik Pedersen (born June 10, 1975 in Copenhagen ) is a Danish football player . He is currently under contract with Silkeborg IF . The club plays in the top Danish division of the Superliga .

Career

Pedersen began his career at Silkeborg IF , which he was loyal to from 1995 to 2001. Silkeborg was able to qualify for an international cup in its first season. 1997/98 Silkeborg was runner-up, until his departure in 2001 this success in the championship could not be repeated. In 2001 he won the Danish Cup with Silkeborg.

In 2001 Pedersen moved to the Bolton Wanderers for half a season . The Dane made his debut on August 18, 2001 in the League Cup match against FC Walsall . In March 2002 he returned to Silkeborg until the summer and played the season in Denmark to the end. Then the all-rounder returned to the Wanderers and stayed until 2007. In 2002/03 Pedersen prevented relegation with the club and achieved 17th place in the table, two points the relegation rank, which was occupied by West Ham United . The next season was more successful and Bolton finished eighth. With sixth place a year later, the Bolton Wanderers qualified with Pedersen for the UEFA Cup .

His first game at international level with the Wanderers played Pedersen on September 15, 2005 against the Bulgarian representative Lokomotive Plovdiv , when he was substituted in the 57th minute for the Mexican Jared Borgetti . Bolton made it to the third round, where they failed at Olympique Marseille . You finished eighth in the championship. A year later, Bolton was able to qualify again for the UEFA Cup. Pedersen then moved to Hull City in the championship.

Once in the second division, Pedersen was a support for Hull City . After this season Pedersen turned his back on England and returned for the second time to Silkeborg IF , who played in the Danish second division.
