Henrik Wigström

Henrik Wigström (* 1862 ; † 1923 ) was a Finnish - Russian goldsmith and from 1903 workshop manager in the manufacture of Carl Peter Fabergé in Saint Petersburg .

After Michael Perchin's death, Wigström became his successor and workshop manager at the Fabergés goldsmith's factory and was thus responsible for the production of the imperial Fabergé eggs . Wigström's special areas of responsibility also included the design of cigarette cases, picture frames and figurines, as they were produced on a large scale at the company's zenith. Wigström based himself primarily on the Louis-seize and Empire styles .
