Henry Constable
Henry Constable (* 1562 in England ; † 1613 in Liège , Belgium ), son of Sir Robert Constable, was an English poet .
Life
Henry Constable was educated at Cambridge. After converting to the Roman Catholic faith, he emigrated to Paris . There he worked for Catholic forces. In 1592 he published "Diana" a collection of sonnets . Other well-known works are "Diaphenia" and a version of " Venus and Adonis "
His style is described as passionate and colorful.
