history
The 55-room property, laid out as a marble palace, was built by railroad magnate Henry Morrison Flagler , a business partner of John Davison Rockefeller , in 1902 as a wedding gift to his wife. This former stately summer residence, which served as a hotel from the mid-1920s to the end of the 50s, can be visited.
