Henry Stalter (before 1923 - after 1926) was a French racing car driver .

Surname

Little is known about racing driver Henry Stalter. For many years it was not clear from the available sources whether Stalter is a pseudonym or the athlete's surname . New sources now show the driver as Henry Stalter.

In the 1970s, a Francis Stalter was active in French motorsport. A relationship with the racing driver of the 1920s cannot be proven.

Racing career

Henry Stalter's relevance can be deduced from his success at the Le Mans 24-hour race . He drove there four times. At the opening race in 1923 he was 19th overall with Robert Bloch .

Twice in 1925 and 1926 he was third overall. Both times, Édouard Brisson was a partner in the Lorraine-Dietrich B3-6 plant . Away from Le Mans, he finished the 1925 Spa-Francorchamps 24-hour race in fifth overall.
