Like the Hs 121 , the Henschel Hs 125 was also a training aircraft for advanced pilots, but it was designed as a low-wing aircraft. The Henschel Aircraft Company presented only two prototypes (D-EKAN, D-IEHA) ready.

construction

  • Wings: low- wing aircraft , tension above the fuselage and below the landing gear; All-metal wing, two-part and two-spar; Wing underside partially covered with fabric; Outside fabric-covered ailerons , inside landing flaps with worm gear .
  • Hull: oval all-metal hull in shell construction.
  • Tail unit: normal braced tail unit, metal design with fabric-covered oars.
  • Chassis: rigid tail wheel chassis; Main wheels Spring struts with Uerdinger ring spring suspension, struts support to the rear, braced against each other and towards the wing, streamlined clad, a grinding spur at the rear.
  • Powerplant: an air-cooled 8-cylinder engine of the type Argus As 10 C with 177 kW (240 HP) take-off power and a rigid two-bladed wooden propeller.
