The company Hekwerk industry Eindhoven in 1952 by Frans Ruigrok in Oirschot founded. In 1958 the name was changed to Heras, derived from HEK- en RASterwerk . In 1986 it was bought by Cement Roadstone Holding . In addition to classic barriers, Heras also offers gate drives, monitoring systems and access control systems. The annual turnover is 275 million euros.
