Herbert Goering
Herbert Ludwig Wilhelm Goering (* 9. December 1889 in Kettwig ; † after 1945 ) was a cousin of Hermann Goring in the era of National Socialism member of numerous supervisory boards.
Life
Herbert Göring was initially employed in the Prussian Ministry of State in 1933, before moving to the Reich Ministry of Economics as General Advisor in 1934 . Joined the SS on June 3, 1934 (membership number 214.974), in 1939 he reached the rank of SS-Obersturmbannführer and was assigned to the staff of the SS main office. He belonged to the circle of friends of the Reichsführer SS , Heinrich Himmler . In 1935 he received a loan of "100 Mille" from the industrialist Otto Wolff, ie over 100,000 Reichsmarks, according to a letter from Göring.
