Herbert Holzing
Herbert Holzing (* 1931 in Trier ; † 2000 there ) was a German illustrator .
He studied in Karlsruhe and Trier. In the course of his work he has illustrated more than 85 books and also designed 120 protective covers for books. Herbert Holzing became known especially for his illustrations of Otfried Preussler's " Krabat " or " The Bell of Green Ore ". His work has been recognized by international awards.
