Heri-wedja is an early Egyptian official title, which is mainly used in the first and later again in the second dynasty , from then on no longer. The title "Heri-wedja" means chief of the magazine and describes an official who looked after and controlled royal grave and temple magazines and / or royal domains . The usual spelling of the full title was "Heri-wedja + name of the institution ". A well-known bearer of this title was the official Amka , who made a career under the kings Djer , Wadji and Hor-Den .
