Herman van Laer
Herman Johan van Laer (born May 25, 1920 in Amsterdam , † June 30, 2005 ) was a Dutch sports official.
Van Laer was from 1975 to 1980 chairman of the Royal Netherlands Ice Skating Association (KNSB) and from 1977 to May 21, 1985 board member of the Dutch Olympic Committee .
After leaving the KNSB, he was made an honorary member. Van Laer was also involved in the Amsterdamsche IJsclub and the International Ice Skating Union (ISU), of which he was an honorary member since 1992.
