Hermann Breymann (politician)

Hermann Breymann (born January 14, 1898 in Dinslaken , † October 29, 1958 in Voerde ) was a German local politician and honorary district administrator ( SPD ).

Life and work

After attending school, he completed a teacher training course in Kettwig from 1912 to 1920, interrupted by military service . From 1920 he worked at various schools without interruption until his death. Most recently he was principal at a school in Voerde. He was married and had five children.

From December 4, 1952 to October 29, 1958, Breymann was a member of the district council of the former district of Dinslaken . During the same period he was district administrator for the district of Dinslaken. From 1952 to 1958 he was a council member in Voerde and from 1956 to 1958 mayor . Breymann was active in various committees of the district council of North Rhine-Westphalia . In Voerde the Hermann-Breymann-Bad was named after him.
