Hermann Eduard Reisner

Hermann Eduard Reisner (* 1910 in Berlin ; † 1991 in Frankfurt am Main ) was a German publisher and author of business publications, primarily in the field of exports.

Life

Reisner was born in Berlin in 1910, started in the publishing business in 1929 and co-founded the German export magazine Übersee-Post . After the Second World War he moved from Berlin first to Nuremberg and then to Frankfurt am Main , where he founded the business publisher Made in Europe in 1954 .

During the German economic miracle , Reisner became known as an editor and author of specialist economic literature, magazines and practice-oriented export publications. The main focus of his books were economic trade issues, dealing with trading partners, product and process innovations at foreign industrial companies and dealing with authorities. His tapes also pointed to intercultural topics and explained the correct “business etiquette” for German entrepreneurs when dealing with trading partners around the world.

Herman E. Reisner was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit .
