Hermann Findeis

Hermann Findeis (born June 27, 1950 in Hardegg ) is an Austrian police officer and politician ( SPÖ ). Findis was a member of the Lower Austrian state parliament from 2003 to 2013 . He lives in Laa an der Thaya , is married and has two daughters and a son.

Life

After primary school, Findeis attended secondary school and completed a commercial apprenticeship from 1964 to 1967. In 1967 he passed the sales assistant examination for the retail and wholesale trade. Findis worked as a commercial clerk from 1967 to 1970 and then between 1970 and 1979 as managing director of an electrical and heating company. In 1979 he moved to the customs station as an officer and has been a police officer since 1996.

Findis was elected to the Laa an der Thaya local council in 1990 and was promoted to second vice mayor and city councilor in 1993, and to first vice mayor and city councilor in 2010. Since 1995 he has also held the office of SPÖ local party chairman. Furthermore, Findeis is in the presidium of the Lower Austrian Civil Protection Association as vice-president , in the parliamentary group of social democratic trade unionists as district chairman , the police and since 1999 as district chairman of the community representative association of the SPÖ. Findis did not stand in the state elections in Lower Austria in 2013 and left the state parliament on April 24, 2013.
