Hermann Gschaider

Hermann Gschaider (* 1956 in Burgkirchen ) is an Austrian sculptor . He organized several sculptor symposia in the Innviertel.

Live and act

The freelance autodidactic sculptor lives and works in Mattighofen . He is a member of the Innviertel Artists Guild and the Wels Artists Guild.

Gschaider is a trained mechanical engineer and practiced this profession until the beginning of his artistic career. In 1995/1996 he attended courses with Milos Chlupac and Susanne Tunn at the International Summer Academy for Fine Arts in Salzburg . In 1997, 1999 and 2002 he organized stone carving symposia with well-known artists in Mattighofen and founded the Mattighofen Sculpture Park in 1999 .

This was followed by working stays in Strömstad (Sweden, 2000), New York (USA, 2002), and Thessaloniki (Greece, 2003). In 2002 and 2007 he was able to work at the Egon Schiele Art Centrum in Cesky Krumlov , Czech Republic, and in 2008 in Molo Domus Artium, Italy, and in 2008 he was invited to the Bluecoat display center in Liverpool . In addition, he occasionally attended sculpture symposia at home and abroad.
