Hermann Handler

Hermann Handler (born December 8, 1882 in Lichtenegg ; † December 26, 1968 there ) was an Austrian politician ( CSP ) and business owner. Handler was a member of the Lower Austrian state parliament from 1926 to 1927 and from 1929 to 1932 .

Handler attended agricultural courses after elementary school and subsequently took over the family business. Handler was chairman of the local Raiffeisenkasse for 50 years and from 1919 worked as a councilor in Lichtenegg. From 1932 to 1938 he held the office of mayor. Handler represented the Christian Social Party between November 10, 1926 and May 20, 1927 and between September 17, 1929 and May 21, 1932 in the Lower Austrian state parliament. Handler was made an honorary citizen of Lichtenegg.
