Hermann Hartmeyer
Hermann Alfred Viktor Hartmeyer (born August 26, 1875 in Hamburg ; † June 23, 1965 there ) was a German publisher.
Hartmeyer was the son of Hermine Schoeller and Johann Gustav Hermann Hartmeyer. He studied law and graduated in 1903 with his promotion to Dr. jur. from. Afterwards he was the owner of the publishing house Hermann's Erben and the last editor of the Hamburger Nachrichten . The publishing house was founded by Heinrich Hermann in 1786 and also published the Hamburg address book.
