Hermann Heinrich Roeck

Hermann Heinrich Roeck (* 1731 in Lübeck ; † January 16, 1797 ibid) was a merchant and councilor of the Hanseatic city of Lübeck.

Life

Hermann Heinrich Roeck was the son of the Lübeck merchant Ludwig Philipp Roeck . He completed his apprenticeship as a clerk in Königsberg . After traveling to the Netherlands, he started his own business in Lübeck. At first he belonged to the Lübeck Skåne drivers, but then joined the Novgorod drivers. He was elected to the council in 1779 and, as councilor, was president of the city treasury. He was head of the Petrikirche and the Holy Spirit Hospital .
