Hermann Jaritz

Hermann Jaritz (born November 8, 1848 at Lichtenegg Castle in the Black Forest, † after 1902 ) was a German theater actor and theater director .

Life

Jaritz, son of an economist, decided to take up the stage profession in 1869 after visiting the Polytechnic in Stuttgart. He began his acting career in Meiningen, but had to interrupt it in 1870 as a result of the outbreak of war, which he participated in as an officer candidate, came to the court theater in Altenburg in 1871, in Freiburg in 1873, worked at the court theater in Mannheim from 1874 to 1880, from 1880 to 1881 in Bremen, from 1881 to 1882 in Berlin, from 1882 to 1895 at the Royal Theater in Kassel and then took over the city theater in Hanau (connected to the city theater in Offenbach and the Kurhaus theater in Homburg).

His life after 1902 is unknown.
