Nantey is a town and commune Déléguée in the French commune of Val d'epy with 62 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the Jura department in the region of Bourgogne Franche-Comté .

The neighboring communities were Thoissia in the north, Andelot-Morval in the northeast, Florentia in the southeast, Val-d'Épy in the south, Senaud in the southwest, Saint-Jean-d'Étreux in the west and Nanc-lès-Saint-Amour in the north-west.

history

From 1790 to 1794 Nantey gradually took over the previously independent, western municipality of Écuria.

The municipality of Nantey was incorporated into Val d'Épy on January 1, 2016. It belonged to the arrondissement of Lons-le-Saunier and the canton of Saint-Amour .
