Hermann Karl Weinert

Hermann Karl Weinert (born March 6, 1909 in Dortmund , † March 24, 1974 in Lippoldsberg ) was a German Romanist .

life and work

Weinert received his doctorate in Hamburg as a student of Walther Küchler with poetry from faith. A contribution to the problem of the literary Renouveau catholique in France (Hamburg 1934, 2nd revised edition 1948). From 1946 to 1953 he was a research assistant at the Romance Seminar in Tübingen (with Julius Wilhelm ), from 1949 lecturer, from 1954 diet lecturer, from 1956 adjunct professor, from 1963 to 1974 scientific adviser and professor for French studies. Weinert had been a member of the Accademia lucchese di scienze, lettere ed arti since 1956.
