Hermann Lotter

Hermann Lotter (born March 7, 1940 in Nuremberg ; † June 5, 2013 in Munich ) was a German swimmer and sports official.

Career

Lotter was a swimmer at the Wasserfreunde München. Between 1959 and 1967 he was twelve times German champion and set 24 German records. In 1960 in Rome and 1964 in Tokyo, he took part in the Olympic Games.

For many years he was a personal member of the National Olympic Committee for Germany (NOK) and from 1974 to 1984 chairman of the Wasserfreunde München.
