Hermann Schutte

Hermann Schutte (* before 1528; † July 13, 1547 in Lübeck ) was councilor of the Hanseatic city of Lübeck.

Life

Hermann Schutte was elected councilor of Lübeck in 1528. In 1534 he and Jürgen Wullenwever negotiated with Count Johann von Hoya about his services for Lübeck in the conflict with Denmark, later called the Count's feud . After the end of the Wullenwever time in Lübeck, Schutte was 1538–1540, 1542–1543 and 1545 combing lord of the city. His estate was heavily indebted.

Schutte was married to a daughter of Lübeck councilor Friedrich Joris and a brother-in-law of councilor Heinrich Kerkring . From 1535 he lived in the property at Breite Straße 13 in Lübeck. His daughter Anna married the councilor Albrecht Klever .
