Albrecht Klever

Albrecht Klever (* before 1505; † May 26, 1565 in Lübeck ) was councilor of the Hanseatic city of Lübeck.

Life

The Lübeck citizen Albrecht Klever was a member of the citizens' committee of the 64ers and was elected to the Lübeck council on March 8, 1533 by the Lübeck citizenship . In the same year he was the commander of the Lübeck fleet in the Öresund . On August 21, 1535 he resigned from the Lübeck council at the end of the Wullenwever period . In 1537 he was re-elected to the council and held the office of combing lord from 1558 to 1561 .

Albrecht Klever was married four times to:

  2. Anna Darsow, daughter of councilor Hermann Darsow (⚭ 1536)
  3. Anna Schutte, daughter of Councilor Hermann Schutte
  4. Agnete Kerkring, daughter of councilor Hinrich Kerckring (⚭ 1548)

Klever lived in the house plot Koberg 2, the Hoghehus , and was the owner of the house Engelsgrube 26/32 and two Hufen in Vorwerk .

He was buried in the Jakobikirche . His grave slab is described in the literature, but not preserved. His son Hermann Klever also became a councilor in Lübeck in 1580.
