Hermann Klever

Hermann Klever (born January 23, 1537 in Lübeck , † February 18, 1597 ibid) was a merchant and councilor of the Hanseatic city of Lübeck.

Life

Hermann Klever was the son of the Lübeck councilor Albrecht Klever from his second marriage to Anna, geb. Darsow, daughter of councilor Hermann Darsow (⚭ 1536). Klever was elected to the Lübeck Council in 1588, where he held the office of bettor .

His first marriage was to a daughter of the Lübeck councilor Andreas Bussmann . In his second marriage he married a daughter of councilor Gotthard IV von Höveln . Klever's seal can be found in the Lübeck citizens' seals .
