Andreas Bussmann

Andreas Bussmann († March 8, 1561 in Lübeck ) was a merchant and councilor of the Hanseatic city of Lübeck.

Andreas Bussmann was a member of the Lübeck Citizens Committee in 1530 , but was not elected to the Lübeck Council during the Wullenwever period . After the return of the old council in 1535, he was elected councilor of Lübeck in 1541. He was active in the council as betting master .

Bussmann was married to Gertrud geb. Messmann, daughter of the Lübeck councilor Hermann Messmann . One daughter married the Lübeck councilor Hermann Klever . Bussmann and his wife were buried in the Marienkirche in Lübeck , where their coat of arms grave slab is inscribed but not verifiable.
