Hermann Valke

Hermann Valke (* in the 15th century; † January 18, 1504 ) was canon in Münster .

Life

Hermann Valke came from the Münsterland knightly family Valke, whose seat was the Falkenhof in Rheine . He was the son of Heinrich Valke zu Rockel (1445–1502) and his wife Gertrud von Langen zu Steinfurt. After studying in Cologne , he was first mentioned as a canon in Münster on November 14, 1488. Hermann was archdeacon of Rheine. He held both offices until his death. His cousin Johann was a canon in Münster.
