Hermann Warmke

Hermann Josef Warmke (born February 7, 1929 - † December 20, 2011 ) was a German business lawyer and manager.

Career

Warmke submitted his doctoral thesis in December 1960 to the law and political science faculty of the University of Würzburg . From 1961 he worked for the ready-mixed concrete manufacturer Readymix AG (today: CEMEX Deutschland AG ). In 1965 he was first deputy and then first chairman of the board of the company. After retiring from operational business, he took over the deputy chairmanship of the supervisory board. In 1989 he left the company.

He represented professional interests as President and Honorary President of the Federal Association of the German Ready-Mixed Concrete Industry (BTB). In this function, he set up the Concrete Prize Foundation in 1982 .

Since 1951 he was a member of the Catholic student union KDStV Gothia Würzburg .

Honors

  • 1990: Federal Cross of Merit "for his services to the professional representation of the ready-mixed concrete industry"
  • July 31, 1991: Silver medal from the University of Passau
  • 1993: Jürgen Hinrich Magens Medal
