Hermann Ziemer

Hermann Ziemer (born May 11, 1845 in Neustettin , † February 10, 1908 in Kolberg ) was a German high school teacher .

Life

Hermann Erdmann Johannes Ziemer studied philology and was awarded a Dr. phil. PhD. In 1873 he became a teacher at the Kolberg high school . In 1893 Ziemer was appointed grammar school professor. In addition to textbooks, he wrote numerous articles in specialist journals in the field of education, linguistics and weather studies. He was a member of the Kolberg Freemason Lodge Wilehlm zur Mannkraft .

In 1875 he married Elise Balthasar (1854–1924), eldest daughter of Robert Balthasar (1830–1865) and his wife Anna Boldt (1837–1915). His son Robert (* 1881) was a lieutenant colonel in the Reichswehr.
