The Hermannsklippe is a rock cliff made of granite in the Harz in Saxony-Anhalt .

It reaches a height of 747 meters and is located in the area of ​​the city of Ilsenburg (Harz) north of the Brocken . Immediately south of the Hermannsklippe runs along the Hermannschaussee , which joins the Hirtenstieg a little further west . The Hermannschaussee is part of the Heinrich-Heine-Weg here . The cliff can be easily reached on foot from the Hermannschaussee and offers a wide view of the northern Harz and the Harz foreland. The terrain slopes steeply to the north. South of the Hermannsklippe is the Plasteroßklippe , further south the Kleine Brocken . Some rocks south of the Hermannschaussee are also indicated as belonging to the Hermannsklippe.
