Hermione Fiala

Hermine Fiala (born September 23, 1930 , † June 2, 1979 in Vienna ) was a member of the Vienna City Council .

The trained business assistant got involved early in the socialist youth , later in popular education - Hermine Fiala was u. a. also president of the "Volkshochschule Favoriten" association - and was employed as a consultant for the "Junge Generation" building cooperative. From 1966 until her untimely death, Hermine Fiala was a member of the Vienna State Parliament .

The residential complex of the municipality of Vienna at Laxenburger Strasse 90 in Favoriten, built between 1980 and 1982, was named Hermine-Fiala-Hof in 1983 .
