Mr Tischbein (actually Marcus Zbonek ) is an Austrian actor, lyricist and musician who became famous in 2010 with the song Sympathie .

Live and act

The video for the song reached several thousand views on the YouTube Internet portal within a few days and was then added to the playlist by several Austrian radio stations. Before his career as a singer he worked as an actor, copywriter and techno MC.

In autumn 2010, Mr. Tischbein was nominated for the Austrian preliminary decision for the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 . He did not reach the top 30 participants. After his chart success with sympathy , Mr. Tischbein signed with Universal Music in Germany. His second single, Blume, was released in October 2011.

At first the musician called himself Emil Tischbein. This name goes back to the name of the title hero of the children's book Emil and the detectives by Erich Kästner . 25 May 2012 his debut album was released collar size .

He is the son of the film and theater director Edwin Zbonek .
