Lords of Hengstfeld

The Lords of Hengstfeld were a lower nobility family in the village of Hengstfeld , now part of the municipality of Wallhausen in the Schwäbisch Hall district ( Baden-Württemberg ).

history

The Lords of Hengstfeld are first documented in 1230. They were feudal people of the Lords of Hohenlohe . After 1312 they are no longer mentioned. Walter "von Hengestfeld" is the last of this family to be passed down.

The Lords of Hengstfeld sat at Hengstfeld Castle , which was destroyed in the 15th century.
