The ruinous mansion Kniephof ( Polish : Pałac w Konarzewie ) is located in today's Polish Konarzewo , Gmina Nowogard , West Pomeranian Voivodeship .
The manor house is a simple two-storey, today ruinous , building with five axes and two simple side wings . The central building is two-story, while the side wings are single-story. Together with the Külz ( Kulice ) and Jarchlin ( Jarchlino ) estates , Kniephof came into possession of von Bismarck . Otto von Bismarck spent his youth in Kniephof and later managed the Bismarck estates together with his brother Bernhard.
From 1845 Otto von Bismarck was the sole owner of Kniephof, but leased it from 1846 and finally sold it in 1868 after he had acquired Gut Varzin . After 1945 the estate became a state estate and the manor house continued to be used for this purpose.
