The Herrensee is a body of water in the town of Strausberg in the Märkisch-Oderland district in the state of Brandenburg .
location
The lake is located in the southeast of the district and is traversed by the Rüdersdorfer Mühlenfließ . The inflow comes from the northeast and is referred to in this section as Annafließ. The outflow is in the southwest. A quiet forest has been located there since 2012 . The Strausberg – Strausberg Nord railway line runs west of the lake .
History and Development
The area was made in the 20th century already under protection and in 2005 as a nature reserve Herrensee, Langendamm meadows and slopes Barnim Nature Reserve Langendamm meadows and Lower Annatal connected. The lake is accessible from the quiet forest on Garzauer Straße via a circular path.
