The Hertali , also known as Dabita Ale , is a crevice volcano in Ethiopia that forms the lava fields at the southern end of the Awas Plain . It is located about 50 km northeast of the Dofen . It is believed to have been active during the late Pleistocene and Holocene . These assumptions are based on his "youthful" appearance. Its position last changed from 2008 to 2010 due to the deformation of Haledebi, 10 km south.
