Hervormde Kerk (Sint Anna ter Muiden)
The Hervormde Kerk is a reformed parish church in Sint-Anna ter Muiden (municipality of Sluis , province of Zeeland ) in the Netherlands .
history
The mighty, widely visible church tower in the Scheldt Gothic style of today's Reformed Parish Church is the only remnant of a previous building that was destroyed in the Eighty Years' War . This is the crossing tower (Dutch Kruisingstoren) of the original church, which dates back to the 14th century . This church was dedicated to Saint Anne , who also became the patron saint of the place. On the east side of the tower, the Calvinist believers built a small new church in 1653, which is still used today by a Reformed congregation within the United Dutch Protestant Church . The building was last completely renovated in 1956.
organ
In the church there is a small, single-manual organ, which was built in 1872 by the organ building company Knipscheer. The instrument has 10 manual registers , including three treble, one bass and one register divided into bass and treble. The pedal (C – f 3 ) is attached.
