The Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus (Polish: Kościół Najświętszego Serca Pana Jezusa ) in Krakow is a Catholic church at ul. Warszawska 8 in the Kleparz district .

history

At the site of the Sacred Heart Church, the Simon and Judah Church stood since the 16th century and was demolished in the middle of the 19th century. Between 1869 and 1871 the current church was built in neo-Romanesque style by Filip Pokutyński for the Cooperative of Daughters of Christian Love of St. Vincent de Paul . The founder of the monastery, Bishop Ludwik Łętowski, is buried in the church.
