Hespenbusch is a homestead that belongs to the community of Großenkneten in the Wildeshauser Geest in Lower Saxony . Today it is run as the district of Hespenbusch-Pallast of the community of Großenkneten.

history

Hespenbusch has a burial ground from the younger Bronze Age (around 1200–700 BC) to the Iron Age (around 700–0 BC). The 52 to 54 grave mounds of different sizes are located on the street "Am Gräberfeld". They are still easy to recognize today. Some are 10 m in diameter .

Hespenbusch was formerly the location for small test rockets of the DAFRA work group , but tests in this regard have been carried out in Cuxhaven since 1957 .
