The Hess Glacier is an 8 km long glacier on the Foyn coast of Graham Land on the Antarctic Peninsula . It flows between steep rock faces in an east-northeast direction and flows 16 km southwest of Monnier Point into the Hess Inlet .
The mapping was carried out in 1947 by scientists from the Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey . They named it after the German glaciologist Hans Hess (1864–1940).
