Building blocks

Building stones ( Danish Bautastenen ) are erect menhirs that were found in Denmark and Scandinavia from the 5th century BC. BC to the 5th century AD for ritual purposes. Originally there were around 1000 building blocks on Bornholm.

According to a Bornholm legend, the horse stones are a wedding couple with a horse and cart that fell into the depths here. However, there is evidence that cremations were carried out within the stones.
