Witch candle
The witch's candle is a type of ice cream with a piece of ice reminiscent of the shape of a candle . A little more than three quarters of the ice cream is covered in a cocoa-based fat glaze .
The witch candle is available in three versions:
- "Original" (no name): vanilla ice cream with glaze
- Othello: Chocolate ice cream with glaze
- Strawberry: Strawberry ice cream with glaze
The product was first produced in Thuringia in the GDR in 1960 . Since 2005 it has been sold again by the Ablig Feinfrost GmbH.
An oval-shaped variant of the witch's candle is the witch's kiss .
