German sex party

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The German Sex Party (DSP) was a small German party in the 1970s, which influenced the social debate about sexual morality due to its controversy and in particular through its party newspaper .

history

The German Sex Party (DSP) was founded on February 4th 1970 in a Hamburg pub by 11 people. The establishment was largely pushed by Joachim Driessen , graphic artist and publisher of the St. Pauli newspaper , who also became party chairman at the constituent meeting. Roland Schade became party director. With the founding of the party, Driessen wanted above all to prevent his newspaper from being banned for pornography . Originally, the party wanted to run for the 1972 federal election , but forgot to register. However, in 1973 she joined Karl Heinz Langner in the election to the Reutlingen district council. He got 1,367 votes in this election.

Party newspaper

According to the Ministry of Family Affairs, the paper presented "sexual activity exclusively as a means of enjoyment education" and the Ministry therefore requested that it be indexed. The newspaper was declared a party organ when it was founded.

The party's emblem was a gold teardrop in a red, equilateral, vertically apex triangle.

Program

The members of the DSP were obliged to "work tirelessly for the liberalization of sex in the immediate and wider vicinity through word and deed".
