Hibino Shirō

Hibino Shirō ( Japanese 日 比 野 士朗 ; born April 29, 1903 in Tokyo Prefecture ; † September 10, 1975 ) was a Japanese writer.

Life

Hibino Shirō was born in Tokyo in 1903. He left the 8th high school in Nagoya prematurely and without a degree and worked for a while as an assistant teacher in a small town in Hyōgo prefecture . After his discharge from military service in 1939 he received the Iketani Shinzaburō Prize for Wusong Creek ( 呉 淞 ク リ ー ク ) . from 1942 on he was vice president of the cultural department in the Imperial Aid Society . His works are characterized by battle slogans and the firing of perseverance.
