Hideo Gosha

Hideo Gosha ( Japanese 五 社 英雄 ; born February 26, 1929 in Tokyo ; † August 30, 1992 ) was a Japanese director and screenwriter .

His main works are historical samurai films. Seen in Germany was Deadly Shadows (Jittemai) in 1986. For his film Yokiro (international The Geisha) from 1983, he received the 1984 Japan Academy Prize . Also in 1993 for his life's work.
