The Hien Luong Bridge is a 165-meter-long bridge over the Ben Hai River, Vĩnh Linh County, Quảng Trị Province , Bắc Trung Bộ , Vietnam . The bridge is at the 17th parallel . Between 1954 and the reunification in 1975 it was the demarcation line between North and South Vietnam . The former border bridge connects the communities of Hien Luong in the north and Xuan Hoa in the south. Today the bridge is closed to car and moped traffic.
